AIDB 2013 General Assembly and Conference, Bologna

The 9th National Conference on Patent Information will be held in Bologna on the topic “The Role of the Patent Information Specialist and the Evolution of Patent Searches—Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow.” The 2013 edition is being organized in conjunction with the EPO’s patent information conference—EPOPIC 2013 —which this year will take place in Italy at the Bologna Exhibition Center from October 22 to 24.
To highlight the synergies and shared goals between AIDB and the EPO,the Association’s General Assembly will take place on the grounds of the Bologna Fairgrounds, while the conference will be held the following day at the Bologna Museum of Industrial Heritage.
The annual conference of the Italian Association of Patent Information Specialists is the leading national event in the field of patent information; by covering both technical-scientific and legal aspects, it has become strategically important for businesses, universities, and research institutions alike.
The AIDB Conference also aims to serve as an opportunity for professional development, discussion, and inspiration for innovative companies, intellectual property professionals, and institutional stakeholders who, through the use of patent information and the commercialization of intellectual property, could provide significant added value to our country’s competitiveness.
