Preparing Patent Analytics Projects and Patent Landscape Reports – Hands-On Lessons

AIDB, in collaboration with Tony Trippe (Managing Director of Patinformatics LLC), has organized a series of four webinars designed to provide details and practical advice on certain crucial stages of patent analysis and, in particular, on the preparation of Patent Landscape Reports (PLR).Patent analysis and PLRs are generally activities designed to support decision-making processes and to effectively address the challenges associated with high-risk decision-making in technologically advanced fields. For many years, decision-makers have relied on personal networks and intuition. With the development and consolidation of patent analysis, and the widespread use of PLRs, it is possible to reduce the risk associated with these decisions by adopting a data-driven approach.

Working with patents can be complicated, due to the inherent nature of the subject matter and the lack of standardization in the way patent offices in different countries generate information.

This webinar series is designed to provide a set of practical, step-by-step instructions for conducting patent analysis and PLR projects.

The four events are free and open only to AIDB members
