Course on Systematic Innovation Based on TRIZ

Course on Systematic Innovation Based on TRIZ

The CPV Foundation (Veneto Productivity Center) is organizing a course on systematic innovation based on the TRIZ methodology, to be held at the Foundation’s headquarters starting October 3, 2018. The course will cover the following topics:

  • Problem Solving – Solving technical problems within the company by steering the solution toward the only viable path, resulting in savings in time (and money);
  • Scientific Approach – A scientific (and methodological) approach to the processes that lead to innovation, accelerating production and product development times
  • Patent Circumnavigation – Overcoming an obstacle posed by a competitor’s patent (“Patent Circumnavigation”), by breaking down the patent itself into its primary and secondary elements and “reassembling” it by adding or removing some of these elements, so as to fall outside the scope of protection (defined by the claims) of the patent itself. The object that has been reassembled in this way may in turn be patented.

The course instructor will be Prof. Davide Russo, an associate professorat the University of Bergamo who teaches a course on product and process innovation.

The course will last 32 hours, spread over 5 days.
