On Monday, October 8, and Tuesday, October 9, 2007, the AIDB 2007 National Conference, titled: “Industrial Property Documentation—Products and Services in the Mechanical, Chemical, and Design Sectors in Europe. “

The annual conference on industrial property documentation, organizedby the Italian Association of Patent Document Specialists (AIDB) and the Patents, Trademarks, and PATLIB Division of the Turin Chamber of Commerce, is dedicated this year to the European context, in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Treaties of Rome.
AIDB is strongly committed to promoting methodologies and tools for patent research, documentation, and analysis, which is considered a cross-disciplinary activity spanning many fields.
It also works to promote the profession of patent analyst and patent librarian, which has recently been moving toward European certification.
The AIDB Conference is an opportunity for training and discussion on the research and use of documentation, particularly in the fields of design and chemical and mechanical patents. It is aimed at information specialists, intellectual property professionals, and anyone involved in various capacities with innovation in companies and public agencies.
The event will feature presentations by European institutions, corporate case studies, contributions from the academic community, and testimonials from industry professionals.
AIDB would like to thank the following for their cooperation:
