“Bernardo Nobile” Graduation Award
The “Bernardo Nobile” Award for patent research, sponsored by AIDB, is enjoying growing success. Now in its third year, the award attracted 113 participants from all over Italy, who submitted their bachelor’s and doctoral theses to the jury.
The prize includes a check for 4,000 euros and, new this year, a four-month internship at the European Patent Office (EPO) in Munich, with a monthly expense allowance of 700 euros.
The award, named after Bernardo Nobile, the head of the PatLib Center who passed away prematurely, aims to promote multidisciplinary research on topics related to patent documentation and information.
The award will be presented on Tuesday, June 12, by Francesco Russo, vice president of AREA Science Park.
The ceremony will take place in the AREA Auditorium and will be a highlight of the second day of the conference “Patenting and Valuating Biotechnology Inventions in the U.S. and Europe,” scheduled to be held at AREA on June 11 and 12.
